PulsVault is available today as a web app that runs in any modern browser — no installation required. Native apps, a browser extension, and a CLI are in development and marked Soon on the download pages. This page tells you honestly what you can use now and what's coming.

Use the web app (available now)#
Everything in these docs — vaults, items, sharing, My security, organization administration — works in the web app today.
- Open the PulsVault site in a modern browser (current Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge).
- Sign in (or create your account), then unlock your vault with your Access Key.
- Optionally mark the browser as a trusted device so future unlocks are faster.
All encryption and decryption happens in the browser on your device — the web app is a full zero-knowledge client, not a thin viewer. It also works in a phone or tablet browser, which is the recommended way to use PulsVault on mobile until the native apps ship.
What the mobile apps will add#
The Android and iOS apps are designed to make your phone a trusted key-carrier:
- Biometric unlock — unlock your vault with Face ID or a fingerprint instead of typing your Access Key, backed by the phone's hardware secure enclave.
- Approve browser unlocks — when you unlock on the web, your phone gets a push notification; confirming with a biometric unlocks the browser session without re-entering the Access Key.
- Sign up on mobile — create your account and Emergency Kit entirely from the phone.
These flows build on the existing trusted devices and device trust model, so nothing about your keys or zero-knowledge guarantees changes.
What the extension will add#
The browser extension will bring autofill: matching logins offered on the sites you visit, filled without copy-paste. Until it ships, use the item copy button — copied secrets auto-clear from your clipboard after a short delay.
